That’s the problem Sookie Stackhouse has in Club Dead. Granted, not all of us have vampire boyfriends. Sookie fortunately finds support from her boyfriend’s boss, Eric, and Bubba, who is Sookies’s temporary bodyguard, who is a former dead celebrity that tends to upset things when the general public sees him. Bubba used to be a famous singer, but lost some brain cells from dying and being rejuvenated into vampire life. This logically explains the occasional sightings of people that see him especially when he starts singing, “Hunka, hunka, burning love.”
